Symbol of France and its capital, the Eiffel Tower is also one of the most famous monuments in the world.

The Eiffel Tower is one of the most visited of the hexagon with over 220 million visitors since its opening in 1889 sites.

This Parisian landmark is located in the 7th arrondissement of Paris, on the Champ de Mars, near the Seine.

The Tower, designed in 1884 by Gustave Eiffel, was inaugurated for the Universal Exhibition in 1889 after 21 months of work. The latter was called 'The 300-meter tower', though the name was subsequently 'Eiffel Tower' because of Parisian opponents and the first name.

The Eiffel Tower was for forty years the tallest building in the world. Once used for scientific experiments, the Eiffel Tower is now used as a transmitter of radio and television programs.

Today, the Paris nicknamed "La Grande Dame" with its exceptional size and shape.

Two types of rates are applicable for the ascent of the Eiffel Tower as if the ascent is by stairs or elevator. The discounted rate for a child under 25 years is 3.00 € by stairs and € 6.00 per lift. The full price is 3.80 € to the second floor by the stairs and the elevator € 11.00.

To get to the Eiffel Tower, different solutions are proposed. First, to the RER line C - Station Champ de Mars - Eiffel Tower; then the # 42 bus, 69 72 82, 87 and finally the subway stop Bir Hakeim, Trocadéro, Military School.
