This national monument was intended to house the Holy Crown, a piece of the Holy Cross and many other relics. She also served as a royal chapel being built in the royal palace of the Ile de la Cité. Built from 1238 to 1245, the Sainte Chapelle represents the pinnacle of Gothic art.

The Sainte-Chapelle superimposes two chapels, the lower part is dedicated to the common people and the top to the king's entourage.

For information, Walt Disney was inspired by the Sainte-Chapelle to build the Castle from Disneyland.

To get to the Sainte-Chapelle, it is necessary to take the No. 21 bus, 27, 38, 85 and Balabus or take the metro line 4, Station Precinct.
The monument is open daily from 9h to 17h November 1 to February 29 from 9:30 to 18h and from March 1 to October 31.
The normal fare is € 6.50 and the reduced fare is € 4.50.
